Friedkin Uncut offers an introspective look at the life and artistic journey of William Friedkin, extraordinary and maverick director of cult films such as The French Connection, The Exorcist, Sorcerer, Cruising, To Live and Die in L.A and Killer Joe. For the first time Friedkin opens up, leading audiences on a fascinating journey through the themes and stories that have influenced his life and artistic career.
The documentary was premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2018, winning the Nastro d’Argento for Best Documentary on Cinema and becoming a finalist for the David di Donatello.
